How to remove: use these ByteDefender removal instructions or the steps below.

Download Avenger from here and unzip to your desktop.
Run Avenger, make sure that the box next to “Scan for rootkits” has a tick in it and that the box next to “Automatically disable any rootkits found” does not have a tick in it, copy,then paste the following text in Input script Box:
Registry values to delete:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run | ByteDefender

Folders to delete:
C:\Program Files\ByteDefender Software
Then click on ‘Execute’.
